Print Profiles are tied to the RIP software used to produce the printable artwork for the digital printer. The Print Profile is typically tied to the garment to be printed on and is specific to the printer and its printing process. The art assets generated by the RIP software will then be delivered to the printer to print.

In Turbine, the Print Profiles are specifically configured for the Ovaljet and can be found by navigating to Admin > Print Settings > Print Profiles:

A list of current profiles will be displayed with Name, Color Mode, Resolution, and Description. All values other than the Description come from the RIP software. The RIP for the Ovaljet is Caldera and the values are found in EasyMedia once a profile has been created as shown below:

The name, color mode and resolution should be noted and copied into Turbine to add a new profile. Using the example above, the values were copied into a new profile as shown below:

The pretreat adjustment can be ignored as it is a deprecated setting. The Description should be unique to the garment color and fabric content as it will be used to create a Print Recipe in another guide and then mapped to garments or SKUs.

Click Create when finished and the profile will be created.
