The Turbine Brother printer app is available for download in our Downloads section.
After downloading the application as a zip, move it to the C:/ and unpack the zip folder into a folder at C:/Turbine/Turbine Brother Printer.
Open the file Turbine Printer.exe.config using Notepad, and you should see something like the following:
You will need to edit the following fields for your Turbine configuration:
machineToken (required) - The API Token for the machine user found in Turbine under Admin > Users
apiEndpoint (required) - The URL for your instance of Turbine. Replace ‘kb’ with your company name.
printerHotFolderPath (required) - The path on the computer to the printer hot folder. The hot folder should be the expected path for new print files that the software may pick up and load automatically.
nasLookupPath (required) - The path on the computer or network to any expected assets such as .arx4 file directory
devMode (optional) - If set to true this would allow the printer to print canceled or shipped jobs, leave as false.
jobTimeInterval (optional) - Time in milliseconds
Save the edits, and you can now double click to run Turbine Printer.exe
If successful, the application should open and display the correct name of the machine in the top right corner as shown below:
