- Press the Emergency Stop button, turn off the power switch, unplug the printer power switch from the wall socket, leave off

- Clamp/pinch the top of the tubing that connects to the Dampers, so the ink wont leak/spill out

- Remove one damper at a time to reduce ink spilling

- Snip the tubing from the top of the Damper

- Connect the tubbing to the connection on the top of the new Damper

- Before installing the new Damper, you want ink to flow through the new Damper

- On the Left side of the Damper there is a "Button" you can press to flow ink through the Damper, let ink flow through the Damper into a cup until you get a constant stream/drops of ink

  • Note: There will be some air in the Damper that is normal, the Damper wont fill completely with ink

- Install the Damper, there is only one way the Damper will fit, with the "button" facing the left side of the Print Head

- Plug the Printer cable into the wall socket, and switch on the power

- Undo the emergency stop button, the Printer will now power on and reinitialize

- Open PrintEXP navigate to the setting tab

- Click the "Clean" button and perform a "Normal" cleaning

- Print a Nozzle test and inspect the pattern

- If the nozzle condition is not perfect, run a "Normal" cleaning for that Print Head that has the new Dampers, then print nozzle test

- Repeat until the Print Head with the new dampers has a perfect pattern for the nozzle test
