In this guide, we will show you how to receive purchase orders in Turbine.

You will need to go to your Turbine site, then go to the Inventory tab, there select Purchase Orders. There you should be taken to the Purchase Orders page.

We will go over the filter/states of a purchase order.

Open - An order has been created.

Ordered - Mark a purchase ordered.

Received - The order has been received.

Completed - The Purchase Order is completed.

Approved - The Purchase Order has been Approved.

Canceled - The Purchase Order has been canceled.

We are going to focus on the Receiving portion of an order. In this example, we will be editing an existing PO.

Here, we can edit an order. We will use the first row as an example. By clicking on the gear next to the item you can Reopen, Cancel, or Edit Stock.

We can also edit the quantity (Qty) ordered if the order is Open.

You can also add items using the SKU bar and add the quantity order in the Add Item module. The cost should automatically be applied.

Once you change the Qty Ordered, you can see the new Total Cost on the top module.

Once done editing the PO, click on the top right to Mark PO Ordered to move on to the next screen.

You should notice that there is a pop-up that says β€œSuccess! Purchase Oder marked as ordered.” And the statues of the order should be Ordered.

Once the PO has been arrived, you can mark it received by clicking on the Mark PO Received on the top right.

You will see that the Purchase Order Status says Received.

Now a Stocker will come in and process the order to mark items as received by invoice.

From here the stocker will have to enter the invoice that comes with the order.

After entering the invoice, you will check in the product by updating the Qty Received and selecting Update on the row specified.

*Please note, when doing Cases, the check in process is still the same as Singles.

Once all items have been received, the Status of the order should read Completed.
