1. We are going to walk through how to release a job to inventory and then pick the garment for a live order. Start by navigation to Inventory > Stock Labels > Print to release the inventory label. Search for the sku by typing the identifier or navigate to it in the list.
2. In this case, 3 garments were received for this sku and can be released at one time to inventory. Click on 3 Single Label(s)
3. Click on Yes to confirm once you have printed the labels and attached them to each garment.
4. If you navigate to the Stock Labels > View page.
5. You can see 3 new Single labels were created and are now Labeled.
6. In the Turbine mobile app, navigate to the Inventory section and tap on Add Stock
7. Scan the first stock label attached to the 3 garments to put them away
8. A message displaying the bin to travel to will display. If multiple of the same garments were received a confirmation message to confirm all are being taken to the bin will display.
9. Scan the bin, place the garments in, and confirm they have been putaway.
10. To verify the inventory is now in place Navigate to Inventory > Bins > View
11. We can now see the inventory has been added to the bin with 3 garments counted.
12. With the inventory in place, any job waiting on the inventory will now be ready to pick. They will automatically move to the batching system within 30 minutes. In this case we bypassed the wait to release the job using the Release Order button.
13. With the job ready to batch, a picker can pick the job by requesting a batch in the Turbine mobile app. Navigate to Inventory > Pick Batch and click Start.
14. A batch will be assigned or created and assigned to the employee to Pick. Enter the Cart ID to start picking, enter 1 if unknown.
15. The first pick job and location will be displayed to pick. Travel to the Bin number shown and scan the first label in the bin by picking it out of the bin and scanning the barcode.
16. Once the first stock label in the bin is scanned if there are any special handling instructions they will be displayed in the mobile app. Confirm before proceeding.
17. The pick batch will continue until every job in the batch has been picked or an error reported and the batch stats screen will display.
18. Back in Turbine we can see the job and if we click on it.
19. We see the job has been picked. From here the job should be scanned into a Rack by navigating to Production > Rack.
