This guide walks you through everything needed to start selling with Turbine Stores: creating your seller account, setting up payments, getting approved, creating your storefront, connecting Stripe, and publishing your first product. Plan on about 15 minutes.
Before you start, have ready: your business name and address, a credit card or bank account for your Turbine wallet, your Stripe login (or you can create one during setup), and print-ready artwork (a transparent PNG at 300 DPI works best).
Part 1: Create Your Seller Account
Step 1. Open the sign-up page
Go to the Turbine sign-up page. You'll see the Get Started with Turbine form.
Step 2. Fill in your details
Full Name, Email, Password: your login for Turbine.
Company Name and Address: used as your ship-from/return address.
Business Type: choose Seller.
Integration Type: choose Turbine Stores to sell through a Turbine-hosted storefront.
Click Create Your Turbine Account.
Step 3. Review your Setup Progress
You'll land on your Settings Dashboard with a Setup Progress checklist. General Settings and Team Members are already complete from sign-up.
Part 2: Add a Payment Method to Your Wallet
Your wallet is how Turbine bills you for production and shipping.
Step 4. Create your Stripe customer
Click Configure Wallet. Confirm your billing name and email, then click Create Stripe Customer.
Step 5. Add a credit card or bank account
Click Add Credit Card (or Add Bank Account).
You'll be taken to a secure Stripe page. Enter your card details and click Save.
You'll return to Turbine with a Payment method saved successfully message.
Part 3: Request Approval and Accept the Terms
Step 6. Request approval
Back on the Settings Dashboard, the Request Approval button is now active. Click it and confirm.
Your request goes to the 240tech team. We'll review it within 24 business hours and email you when you're approved.
Step 7. Review and accept the Terms Agreement
Once approved, your dashboard shows Review Terms and Create Your First Store.
Click Review Terms, read the Partner Services Agreement, enter your full legal name and title, check I have read and agree, and click I Agree.
Part 4: Create Your Storefront
Step 8. Name your store
Click Create Your First Store (or go to Stores → Storefronts → New). Enter a store name and short description, then click Create Storefront.
Step 9. Follow the Store Setup checklist
Your new storefront shows a Store Setup checklist. Each unfinished step has a Set up button that takes you right where you need to go.
Part 5: Connect Stripe to Accept Payments
Required: customers can't check out until Stripe is connected. Payments from your store go directly into your Stripe account.
Step 10. Connect with Stripe
Click Set up next to Connect Stripe, then click Connect with Stripe in the Stripe Payment Integration panel.
Step 11. Sign in to or create your Stripe account
On Stripe's page, enter your email and click Continue. Sign in to your existing Stripe account, or follow Stripe's prompts to create one. Your business details are pre-filled from Turbine
Step 12. Confirm the connection
You'll return to Turbine with Stripe connected successfully. The panel shows Connected with your Stripe account ID.
Part 6: Add Your First Product
From the Store Setup checklist, click Set up next to Create your first product (or go to Stores → Products → New). The product wizard has four steps.
Step 13. Basic Information
Enter a Product Name and choose the blank garment style you want to sell.
Add a description and choose the Decoration Type (for example, DTG or DTF). Only decoration types supported by the selected garment are shown. Click Save & Continue.
Step 14. Variants
Select the colors and sizes you want to offer. Use the search box to find colors by name. A variant is created for every color/size combination; the count is shown at the bottom. Click Save & Continue.
Step 15. Design
Choose a Decoration Location (e.g. Full Front), give your art a name, and set the max print width/height. Click Create Mockup, then Choose File to upload your artwork (or Generate with AI). Drag and resize the art on the garment, then click Save Mockup.
Your mockup thumbnail appears on the Design step. Click Save & Continue.
Step 16. Pricing
Enter a Target Margin. Turbine prices every variant from its own landed cost (garment + decoration) to hit that margin. You can override any individual variant price. Click Publish Product.
Your product is created.
What's Next
Return to your storefront to see your progress. To go live, finish the remaining checklist items:
Add products to a published collection: collections are how products appear on your store.
Publish the store: from the storefront's General tab.
Sales tax rates (optional, but recommended).
